Action: check your school’s KS2 data by 14 September
3 September - 14 September
The DfE performance tables data checking exercise opened on Monday 3 September and will close at 5pm on Friday 14 September. Schools are asked to check their pupil level data and, if necessary, submit requests to amend the data on which their performance measures are calculated. Applications made after 14 September, for data available during the September checking exercise, will not be processed.
You must submit a confirmation of correct data even if you have no amendments to make.
Any changes to data made after 6 July, such as those following a marking review or late submission of teacher assessment, will be available in the late results tab before the end of the checking window. Guidance is available on the checking website.
The tables contain provisional calculations of school-level performance measures, including progress scores. DfE has published updated technical guidance on primary accountability which will help schools to understand how their provisional results for 2018 were calculated. A summary and video are also available. The primary performance tables will be published in December.
All schools should have received usernames and passwords to access the checking website. If you have any problems accessing the website please contact the DfE tables checking helpline at email@example.com, or telephone 0845 3077867.
